Who We Are
Our Story
The journey began many years ago, with Amar learning the ropes from the very best…his own parents. As the family portfolio of residential apartments and commercial properties grew, Amar took on a much more active role in managing the family’s business, all the while pursuing other entrepreneurial opportunities.
Amar first met Susan in 2005, as a client of the law firm where Susan worked as a corporate lawyer. Fast forward to 2019, Amar and Susan (and Rachel, who was working with Susan at that time) took the leap of faith and agreed to start a whole new adventure at Amdev Property Group.
We were thrilled to further expand our team with the addition of several new members to our finance, property management and planning & development groups.
Despite a global pandemic dominating our first few years as a team, we’ve accomplished great things and look forward to continuing our journey together.
Our Team
Energy, Enthusiasm & Expertise

Amar Bhalla
Founder
During his free time, Amar hones his skills as a fine wine connoisseur, doting father, and aspiring professional tennis player. Amar’s spirit animal is the squirrel.

Susan Pak
Operations
Susan enjoys wearing many hats, the most important one being a mother and raising her two young sons to be the next NBA (G League) players. In her previous career, she was a notorious drug dealer - the legal kind, of course. Susan’s spirit animal is the rabbit.

Rachel Maich
Operations
Rachel is a real talent who loves a friendly competition, but hates to lose. Most recently, she lost to an 8-year-old boy in a Rubik’s Cube challenge (the same boy who is training to be the next NBA (G League) player). Rachel’s spirit animal is the elephant.

Maytham Naqvi
Finance
In an alternative dimension, Maytham is a professional soccer player in one of Europe’s top leagues and wears a head band. When real estate came calling, he jumped in whole-heartedly and cut his hair short (much to the appreciation of his lovely wife). Maytham supplements the work day with some sports/exercise when time allows, and by night, he serves as his young son’s sidekick, playing various supportive roles including ninja, pokemon, power ranger and salon customer. Maytham’s spirit animal is the whale.

Keith Ta
Finance
Outside of work, Keith is an avid fan of soccer and tennis and enjoys a good outdoor hike. He also admits to routinely watching the popular TV show Friends as part of his nightly schedule. Keith’s spirit animal is the rooster (and his spirit Friends character is Chandler Bing).

Svetlana Voitova
Finance
During her free time, Svetlana enjoys nature hikes, gardening and enjoying desserts with her family (luckily for her, one of her sons loves to cook!). Svetlana’s spirit animal is the frog.

Cameron Reynolds
Property Management
When he’s not working, Cameron spends most of his time at home with his awesome partner in crime (a.k.a. “wife”), raising three young and energetic boys. In the scant spare time he has left, Cameron spends it learning about weird and wonderful science facts that he doesn’t understand completely or much at all. Cameron’s spirit animal is his arch nemesis, the raccoon.

Saba Haie
Planning & Development
When he’s not busy dreaming of ways to create vibrant cities, Saba spends time trying to come up with fun educational activities for his kids and their friends. Saba grew up in Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, and has lived in three different continents. Saba’s spirit animal is the Portuguese chicken (aka frango assado).

Michael Liu
Planning & Development
In his personal time, Michael loves to explore Toronto by foot and take snapshots of the urban environment. He is also a huge GIS fan who enjoys making maps. Michael’s spirit animal is the sparrow, a little group of birds that always shows up on his balcony at springtime to remind him that winter is finally over.
